Kristi began her classical training in visual arts at the age of fifteen at a preparatory program in her home town of Huntington, NY. She graduated with a degree in painting and art history from Boston University in 1999, and later studied graphic and packaging design at Parsons School of Design. She pursued commercial creative work and founded LITE+CYCLE, while continually evolving her intuitive way of painting. In 2017 she began to show new and past work in Los Angeles where she currently lives.

Fascinated by human relationships, synchronicities, and the unpredictably of emotions, her work often express a provocative narrative. Whether it’s imagined flora balancing and connecting on thin vines that evoke an electric currency, or human forms that are suggestive through texture, color, and gesture; the end result always finds harmony between the refined and unrefined. Influenced by autobiographical elements, music, and the illusion of the abstract, Kristi's work is inherently about combining her formal education with her innate ability to express visually.
