Kristi began her classical training in visual arts at the age of fifteen at a preparatory program in her home town in NY. She graduated with a degree in painting and art history from Boston University in 1999, and later studied graphic and packaging design at Parsons School of Design. She pursued commercial creative work and developed Lite+Cycle, a line of pure natural fragrances, while continually evolving her intuitive way of painting. In 2017 she began to show new work in Los Angeles where she currently lives.

Fascinated by human relationships, synchronicities, and the unpredictably of emotions, her work often express a provocative narrative. Whether it’s imagined flora balancing and connecting on thin vines that evoke a kinetic currency, or human forms that are suggestive through texture, color, and gesture; the end result always finds a harmony between the refined and unrefined.
